Suffolk HealthCare, which operates the Internet site "Communicator" located at http://www.suffolkhealthcare.com, recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about visitors to our site. As a general policy, no personally identifiable information, such as your name, address or email address is automatically collected from visitors to our site. Personally identifiable information about visitors to our site is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted. Suffolk HealthCare will notify you when we are collecting personally identifiable information about you and how we intend to use it. Suffolk HealthCare may engage in activities with other branches of UNISON for collection of information or other services with whom personal information is jointly collected or shared. We will make it clear at the time of collection whom is asking for and/or sharing your information internally only. If situations where your information could be shared, it is recommended that you also review the privacy policy of other Branches or services provider with whom we are or may be engaged with at that time.

Cookies

Cookies are data that a Web site may use to transfer to an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies, which are an industry standard and used by many Web sites, including Suffolk HealthCare's Communicator, can facilitate a user's ongoing access to and use of a site. Personally identifiable information that visitors submit to our site is used only for the purpose for which it is submitted and intended unless otherwise stated. Suffolk HealthCare does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16.
