On Thursday 28th July 2005, a public consultation on proposals to close
down vital mental health services in Suffolk starts at St Clements hospital in
Ipswich. Health chiefs are greeted by protesters who are against the cutbacks
claiming these proposals will have a detrimental impact on service users and
lead to possible job cuts.
